FAQ
Women’s cycle is a natural herbal tincture made from yarrow, lady’s mantle, guelder rose, lemon balm and chamomile, prepared using the traditional cold maceration method.
The alcohol content (40%) is carefully adjusted to allow gentle and balanced extraction of plant constituents from the herbs, flowers and guelder rose bark. This method creates a gentle herbal extract traditionally associated with a woman’s natural rhythm, more comfortable days and support throughout the cycle.
All the herbs come from Slovenia or are grown on our herbal farm and are then carefully processed by hand into tincture on our farm.

Yarrow (Achillea millefolium)
Yarrow is a traditional European herb from the Asteraceae family. The herb (herba) is used in the tincture. For centuries, it has been associated with a woman’s natural rhythm, the abdominal area and the menstrual cycle. Its slightly bitter and aromatic character brings warmth and herbal depth to the tincture.
Lady’s mantle (Alchemilla vulgaris)
Lady’s mantle, from the Rosaceae family, is one of the best-known traditional women’s herbs. The herb (herba) is used in the tincture. It has long been associated with femininity, the female cycle and gentleness. After the morning dew, its leaves hold tiny droplets of water, which has long surrounded the plant with a special symbolism of femininity.
Guelder rose (Viburnum opulus)
Guelder rose, from the Adoxaceae family, is a traditional herb whose bark (cortex) is used. In folk herbalism, it is often associated with periods of increased tension and sensitivity during the menstrual cycle. It brings a deeper, warmer herbal character to the tincture.
Lemon balm (Melissa officinalis)
Lemon balm is a gentle aromatic herb from the Lamiaceae family. The herb (herba) is used in the tincture. Its mild citrus scent has long been associated with calm, relaxation and a sense of inner balance. In traditional women’s herbal blends, it is often used for support during more sensitive and tense periods.
Chamomile (Matricaria chamomilla)
Chamomile, from the Asteraceae family, is one of the best-known herbal plants. The flowers (flos) are used in the tincture. Its warmth and gentleness have been associated with relaxation, softness and inner calm for centuries. In the blend, it beautifully rounds out the feminine and calming character of the tincture.
Women’s cycle tincture + Relax & sleep tincture
- both tinctures for internal use (Women’s cycle during the day, Sleep & relax tincture in the evening)
- Women’s cycle supports more comfortable days and a woman’s natural rhythm, while Sleep & relax tincture helps with evening relaxation and unwinding
- this combination is especially popular during periods of increased sensitivity, tension or restless sleep during the menstrual cycle
Women’s cycle tincture + Hormone balance tincture
- both tinctures for internal use
- Hormone balance supports overall hormonal balance, while Women’s cycle accompanies the body particularly during the menstrual cycle
- together, they offer a more holistic approach to a woman’s natural rhythm and cycle
What do you recommend for PMS or before menstruation?
During PMS, many women experience increased sensitivity, tension, mood changes or a sense of inner restlessness. At this time, we recommend a gentler, more supportive approach – plenty of rest, warmth, a slower pace and support from herbs.
During this time, many women choose:
Hormone balance tincture for broader support of hormonal balance,
Sleep & relax tincture for evening relaxation and calm,
and Women’s cycle tincture particularly during the first days of menstruation.
Warm herbal teas, warmth applied to the abdominal area and a little extra gentleness towards yourself can also provide welcome support during these days.
Is Women’s cycle tincture also suitable for young girls?
Women’s cycle tincture is formulated as gentle herbal support for a woman’s natural rhythm and can also be used by younger girls after menstruation has begun. The herbs in the tincture are traditionally associated with the menstrual cycle, relaxation and support during menstruation.
As the tincture contains alcohol, we recommend diluting the drops in at least 200 ml of water. When used in this way, the amount of alcohol consumed is very small. For younger girls, it is advisable to adjust the amount according to age and body weight.
Many girls use the tincture mainly during the first days of menstruation or as needed during periods of increased sensitivity and tension.
