FAQ

Relax & sleep is a herbal tincture made from valerian root, hop cones and passionflower herb. It is prepared using the traditional cold maceration method, which helps preserve a broad spectrum of naturally occurring plant constituents and the gentle herbal character of the plants.

The alcohol content (40%) is carefully adjusted to allow effective extraction of different plant constituents – from aromatic compounds to bitter compounds and other naturally occurring substances traditionally associated with evening relaxation.

The herbs are organic and carefully selected from trusted sources. They are processed with great attention to handcrafting and respect for traditional herbal knowledge, natural rhythms and the evening calm these herbs have represented for centuries.

What complications may occur if I take antidepressants or sedatives?

Relax & sleep tincture contains valerian, hops and passionflower – herbs traditionally associated with calm and relaxation. When taken together with antidepressants, sedatives or sleep medication, some people may experience increased drowsiness, fatigue or reduced alertness.

This does not necessarily mean that problems will occur, as individual responses can vary considerably. Nevertheless, we recommend caution, introducing the tincture gradually and, if needed, consulting your doctor or pharmacist before use.
