FAQ
Weight balance tincture is a herbal tincture made with yarrow, artichoke and dandelion, using carefully selected parts of the plants – herbs, leaves and roots. It is prepared using the traditional cold maceration method, which helps preserve a broad spectrum of naturally occurring plant compounds. The bitter compounds found in these selected herbs gently support digestion and contribute to a sense of lightness in the body.
The herbs are grown on our organic farm or carefully wild-harvested in the unspoilt nature of Slovenia. They are harvested by hand, with care for each plant and respect for natural rhythms, helping to preserve their quality and vitality.

Yarrow (Achillea millefolium)
Yarrow is a resilient meadow herb with small white flowers and a distinctive aromatic scent. It belongs to the daisy family (Asteraceae), and the flowering herb (herba) is used in herbal preparations.
The name Achillea is associated with Achilles, who is said to have used yarrow on the battlefields of ancient Greece. In traditional herbalism, yarrow is valued as a bitter herb used to support digestion, inner balance and a sense of lightness after meals.
Artichoke (Cynara scolymus)
Artichoke is a striking Mediterranean plant with large silvery-green leaves and a distinctly bitter character. It belongs to the daisy family (Asteraceae), and the leaf (folium) is used in herbal preparations.
In ancient Mediterranean cultures, it was already valued as a herb traditionally used alongside richer meals. In traditional herbalism, it is associated with supporting digestion, metabolic processes and a sense of lightness in the body.
Dandelion (Taraxacum officinale)
Dandelion is one of the most familiar plants of spring – a yellow sun in the meadow that transforms after flowering into a delicate seed head. It belongs to the daisy family (Asteraceae), and the root (radix) is used in the tincture.
In folk tradition, dandelion is a symbol of spring awakening and cleansing after winter. Traditionally, it is used as a bitter herb to support digestion, metabolism and a sense of lightness in the body.
Weight balance + Milk thistle seeds
- tincture taken internally, seeds used as part of the diet
- the bitter herbs in Weight balance and milk thistle seeds complement each other well, providing broader support for digestion and inner balance
Weight balance + Reishi tincture
- both are taken internally and can be used separately or alternated
- reishi provides additional support for inner balance and well-being, while Weight balance focuses on digestion, metabolism and a sense of lightness in the body
Can I take the tincture if my gallbladder has been removed?
After gallbladder removal, the liver still produces bile, but instead of being stored and released in larger amounts, it flows more continuously into the intestine. Bitter herbs such as those in this tincture may gently support digestion, so the tincture is often well tolerated.
We recommend starting with a lower dose (for example, 10–15 drops) and gradually observing how your body responds. If you have sensitive digestion or experience any discomfort, reduce the dose or discontinue use.
